SL no input (OS Ventura)

Hi,
recently I want to dive into SL on my Mac with Ventura. So far, loading and playing a sound file in SL works well, but I cannot record live input.
Maybe the microphone setting (system) is not allowed, but normally at the first start of an audio app, OS will ask about the microphone...this not happened with SL.
Any thoughts, what is wrong or where I have to look.
