I'm brand new to SooperLooper. I've not used a looper before, but have many years of experience with Digital Performer. (and ProTools)
I'm running SL as an AU plug-in in DP5.13 on an aux track. Input=bus 1 & 2.
I have Stylus RMX sending to bus 1-2.
I have mono violin audio track sending to bus 1-2.
I made an RMX loop and recorded it in to SL. Sync to Jack/Host. Tempo 103 (same as sequence, of course). 8th/cycle 64.0. Quantize 8th. Odub quant on. Auto 8th on.
I set DP to "transmit MTC to" SL AU_in.
It locks fine and the recorded SL loop runs great.
Made a second SL loop for the violin. Sync to Loop 1. Tempo generated is 205.5. 8th/cycle 32. Quantize 8th. Odub Quant on. Repl Quant on. Auto 8th on.
Why doesn't loop 2 lock at 206? It's drifting, as you can imagine.
My goal: I want to be able to run RMX loops ... inside or outside SL ... and layer violin live tracks ... then loop virtual synths over top.
I like to be able to route them out on different channels to a mixer.
Can you help me? I'd be happy to read a manual ...
Tx.

Syncing

Re: Syncing
Since you have set the tempo in DP, you should probably leave it using 'Sync to Jack/Host' in SL the entire time for all loops that you create. Also note that SL does not use MTC, so you don't need to use that setting in DP.
Give that a try, and let me know.
