Using Fastrack and Logic to loop

Post by sicnicmusic »

Hey I need some help with setup to get going using sooperlooper.

I use M-audio fastrack to midi input through usb. I use Logic Pro on my mac to record, but I want to do some looping and would love to use this software instead of buying a looping pedal.

I want to be able to loop vocals/guitar/keyboard.
My microphone and guitar connect through the fastrack, and my keyboard connects straight through usb.

I installed JackPilot and ran in before SooperLooper, but cannot figure out the next step to begin using the software.

I would also love to get really advanced and use some plugins in Logic for recording each loop.

So you should try and start a Jack server and see if it is working. Try and get route sound from in->out directly. Then start SooperLooper and hook that up and see if you can record and play back a loop.
