SL Multiple instances - bring current SL window to the front

Postby Tara Sandnes » Thu Jul 29, 2010 2:34 pm

Hi,

Up untill now I have been using Live's new looper. I'm starting to run into problems - as we know it only has one track, but there are memory issues when using it. Currently I have a looper effect on each of 6 tracks. I use a controller to start and stop loops. And also select a track, which will then show me my current active looper.

I'd like to start doing the same thing. ^ tracks, each with their own SL instance, so, for now, 6 sooperlooper instances.

Questions:

1> Have there been any issues with multiple instances of sooperlooper. Is 6 too many, or on a system with 8 gig of RAM I should be ok?

2> And then the crux of my post, how do I bring current running sooperlooper to the front? With 6 instances, there isn't really enough screen space to display them all, so I'd like to switch between SL windows, suing a controller, and not the keyboard. I've even tried things like quickeys, but that doesn't seem to work.

I know this is an odd request, but any help much appreciated.

Thx

Tara
